This was announced by the interim president, Delcy Rodríguez. The Ministry of Education has stated that some schools will be used as shelters and collection points for donations. “We urge our people to remain calm,” said Rodríguez, who called on healthcare workers to go to hospitals to assist the injured. “We urge unity,” she added.
