Rome, 26 June (LaPresse) – “We still only have very rough figures. There are some Italian-Venezuelans who have died – I believe three. There are five confirmed casualties at present and 35 who are definitely missing.” This was stated by the Foreign Minister, Antonio Tajani, speaking at a press briefing in Dubrovnik, Croatia. “This is bearing in mind that there are around 150,000 Italians registered with AIRE – that is, registered as Italian citizens – in Venezuela. We do not know exactly what will be found under the rubble,” he added.
