Frankfurt (Germany), 29 June (LaPresse) – The death toll from the shooting in Stade, Lower Saxony, has risen to six. The police announced this, stating that the suspected perpetrator of the attack has been arrested, whilst two other people are currently in police custody. Investigators are examining their possible involvement in the shooting. According to the authorities, five people died at the scene of the attack, whilst a sixth died later in hospital as a result of their injuries. All the victims were adults. The police have also announced that a press conference will be held at 7.30 pm, attended by law enforcement agencies, the Stade Public Prosecutor’s Office, district authorities and Lower Saxony’s Minister of the Interior, Daniela Behrens, to provide an update on the progress of the investigation.
