Milan, 1 July (LaPresse) – Following the arrest of Nessy Guerra in Egypt, “I have been in contact with the Egyptian Foreign Minister, Mr Abdelatty, to urge the release of our compatriot” and “I took this opportunity to strongly reiterate, once again, the request for full cooperation from the Egyptian side to ensure the absolute protection and safety of Ms Guerra and her daughter, and I received assurances regarding her government’s willingness to cooperate in order to reach a swift and positive resolution to the matter”. This was stated by Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani, in response to a question during Question Time.
