Monaco, 1 July (LaPresse) – A person was detained this morning but subsequently released today in Monaco as part of the investigation into the explosion on Monday evening in the Principality, in which the Russian-linked Ukrainian tycoon Vadim Ermolaev, his wife and son were injured. This was reported by the Principality’s Attorney General, who specified that the person detained is a foreign national. The person was held in police custody “as further checks were deemed necessary” and was subsequently released in the afternoon, the prosecutor said, without providing further details about the individual or the reasons why they had aroused suspicion.
