Rome, 4 July (LaPresse) – Russian President Vladimir Putin has sent a message of congratulations to US President Donald Trump to mark the 250th anniversary of the Independence of the United States of America. “Today, Russia and the United States, as the two major nuclear powers, have a special responsibility to ensure global security and stability,” Putin said in the message reported by TASS. “We were allies in two world wars; together we liberated humanity from the horrors of Nazism and then played a key role in laying the foundations of the modern world order,” the Russian leader said.
