Milan, 7 July (LaPresse) – The Paris Court of Appeal has upheld the conviction of Marine Le Pen for embezzlement of public funds and complicity in the same offence, and has sentenced her to three years’ imprisonment, two of which are suspended and one to be served under electronic tagging. In recent months, Marine Le Pen has repeatedly stated that she would not have pursued a new presidential campaign had she been ordered to wear an electronic tag.
