Milan, 7 July (LaPresse) – Russia is “investing almost half of its national budget in its war machine”, whilst China “continues to modernise its armed forces and expand its nuclear capabilities without transparency”, and “North Korea is expanding its nuclear arsenal”. This was stated by NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte in his opening address at the Ankara summit. “We must remain vigilant. These countries are cooperating more and more, and this should be a cause for concern for all of us, because I can assure you that they do not have our interests at heart,” warned Rutte.
