By 2025, European Allies and Canada will have increased their investment in core defence requirements by over 139 billion dollars.” This is stated in the final declaration of the NATO summit in Ankara. “We are building the future: a stronger Europe within a stronger NATO – a modernised Alliance. The European Allies and Canada, in partnership with the United States, are taking on greater responsibility for the Alliance’s defence,” the statement continues.
