Rome, 10 July (LaPresse) – The Irish Presidency of the Council of the EU announced on X that today “all Member States of the European Union have agreed to open Cluster 6 (relating to external relations, ed.) of the accession negotiations for Ukraine and Moldova. “This provides further momentum to the European Union’s enlargement process, demonstrating the importance Ireland attaches to this issue during its Presidency of the Council of the EU,” the post reads. It was also decided to close Chapters 8 and 29 of the negotiations with Montenegro and to close Chapters 25, 26 and 30 for Albania.
