This was reported by Ukrinform, citing sources at the Élysée Palace. “The Paris meeting will take place against a backdrop of transatlantic rapprochement and unity, as well as more favourable developments for Ukraine on the battlefield,” the French administration emphasised. The aim of the meeting, the Élysée Palace added, is to “increase support for Ukraine and pressure on Russia”, as well as to promote a ceasefire and the resumption of peace talks. According to reports, at least 25 heads of state and government will attend the summit, including Zelensky. French media also report that NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte is expected to attend. The coalition currently comprises 35 countries, and Moldova and North Macedonia are set to join on Monday.
