Milan, 11 July (LaPresse/AP) – The Eiffel Tower and the Louvre will close early this weekend due to the heatwave currently affecting France, with temperatures reaching 40 degrees in the western and central regions and around 37 in Paris. The Eiffel Tower has announced that this weekend it will close at 4.00 pm instead of 12.45 am. The Louvre and the Musée d’Orsay have also taken similar measures: the former will close at 4.00 pm until and including Monday, and the latter at 5.00 pm until Wednesday.
