Turin, 13 July (LaPresse) – “Everyone agrees that the situation in the West Bank is truly intolerable, and it is also clear that we all support the two-state solution. What is happening in the West Bank is making it increasingly difficult for this solution ever to become a reality.” This was stated by the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs, Kaja Kallas, on her arrival at the Foreign Affairs Council in Brussels. Regarding the measures to be taken vis-à-vis Israel, “it doesn’t matter what my preferred option is, because I have tried to bring together the positions of the 27 Member States, where we can find common ground. Let’s see if the options presented now will receive greater support from the Member States and if some of them will change their position, believing that this is the right approach,” she added.
