Milan, 14 July (LaPresse) – The fires ravaging the Fontainebleau forest, near Paris, may have been ‘deliberately started’, as suggested by the discovery of ‘around ten points of origin within a 1,000-metre perimeter’. This was revealed yesterday evening by the French Interior Minister, Laurent Nuñez, who also announced the arrest of two suspects. According to a source close to the case, one of the two is an 18-year-old, unknown to the police, who was arrested with a lighter in his hand and his hands covered in soot. This was reported by the broadcaster Bfmtv. The Fontainebleau public prosecutor’s office has been informed.
