Rome, 15 July (LaPresse) – The Israel Defence Forces have announced that they have killed Hussam al-Shafie, a militant belonging to the East Khan Yunis Battalion of Hamas’s military wing. “During the massacre on 7 October, al-Shafie infiltrated Kibbutz Nirim and took part in the abduction of Colonel Asaf Hamami, Sergeant Major Tomer Ahimas and Sergeant Kiril Brodski, who were killed during the clashes at the kibbutz,” the army stated on X. “Furthermore, he took part in the planning and execution of attacks and posed a threat to IDF troops operating in the area,” it added.
