Rome, July 16 (LaPresse) – Outgoing Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov stated that President Volodymyr Zelensky had offered him the role of advisor following the decision to remove him from the ministry, but that he declined the proposal. This was reported by *Ukrainska Pravda*. “I had a conversation with the President yesterday. He proposed that I become an advisor or find another way to remain part of the team. I declined the advisor role. My goal was never to become a minister, to remain a minister, or to seek positions for myself, and so on,” Fedorov stated. “However, the issue today is not about me; it is about all of us. Do we close our eyes and say, ‘Fine, let’s leave everything as it is,’ or do we say, ‘Enough’? Ukrainians today have all the tools needed to stop the enemy. We must not behave like the Russians: we need to change our approach and tell the truth,” Fedorov added.
