Judit Polgár, nominated today by leading figures in Hungarian public life as President of the Republic, is a person who embodies these qualities.” Hungarian Prime Minister Peter Magyar wrote this on Facebook last night, announcing that he would meet the former chess champion today to ask her whether, “until the new Constitution is adopted, she is willing to serve our country in this new role”.
