London (United Kingdom), 20 July (LaPresse/AP) – Andy Burnham has formally accepted King Charles III’s invitation to form a government and is officially the new British Prime Minister. Buckingham Palace has released a photograph of the two shaking hands. Burnham, who replaced the outgoing Keir Starmer as leader of the Labour Party last week, is the United Kingdom’s seventh Prime Minister since 2016.
