Turin, 25 July (LaPresse) – “More than ten residential buildings were damaged by a Russian attack on Slovyansk last night. Sadly, three people were killed. In Sumy, the Russians killed another three people in a missile strike, followed by a double attack using an FPV drone against a Nova Poshta facility (a courier company, ed.). My condolences go to the families and loved ones of the victims. They could not have been unaware that these were civilian sites.” Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported this on X. “In Kharkiv,” he added, “a drone struck a residential high-rise. A normal clothing market in Zaporizhzhia was set alight. Drone attacks against the population continue unabated in Kherson and the Kherson region. Poltava, Chernihiv, Odessa, Mykolaiv and the Dnipro region have also been hit.” Zelenskyy notes that “in total, the Russians used two missiles and nearly 160 drones. To date, ten people across the country have been injured in last night’s attacks.” For the Ukrainian leader, “air defence is now a priority at every international meeting and for every state institution. Everything we agree with our partners must be implemented more swiftly. Wherever the authorities can help organise the protection of our skies, it must be done. Ukraine needs greater resilience.”
