Rome, 26 July (LaPresse) – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has responded to the Mayor of New York, Zohran Mamdani, claiming that his remarks are “inciting hatred”. The Mayor of the Big Apple has threatened to have Netanyahu arrested should he arrive in New York for the UN General Assembly in September. “He should be tried at The Hague,” Mamdani had said. However, in an interview with Fox News, Netanyahu said he intended to attend the UN headquarters, despite the mayor’s warning. According to the Israeli Prime Minister, Mamdani “should be the mayor of all New Yorkers: Jews, Christians, Muslims, everyone. But he is trying to pit one group against another”.
