Turin, 27 July (LaPresse) – The spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Esmaeil Baghaei, has stated that Tehran has not requested the resumption of negotiations with the United States to end the war. “This is not how a war is managed. The repeated war crimes and the boasts about them are merely attempts to escape a disaster they have created under the influence of the Zionist regime, and they will inevitably pay the price,” Baghaei told journalists in Tehran. Tensions between the United States and Iran have escalated in recent weeks, with Washington carrying out attacks and Tehran responding by striking US military sites and equipment in several Middle Eastern countries.
