Rome, 28 July (LaPresse) – Iran has lost around 230 million cubic metres of its gas production capacity as a result of the war with the United States and Israel. This was stated by Iranian government spokesperson Fatemeh Mohajerani at a press conference, according to a report by IRNA. In April, Iran sought compensation for the damage caused by US and Israeli attacks. According to an initial estimate, since the start of the war on 28 February, the country has suffered direct and indirect damage amounting to around $270 billion, Al Jazeera reports.
