Rome, 28 July (LaPresse) – US President Donald Trump has stated that “very friendly negotiations” are under way with Iran, despite Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi having said on Monday that the Iranian delegation had made no requests or pleas to continue the negotiations and that Tehran had rejected an American proposal. “Right now they are talking to us about reaching an agreement,” Trump said during a speech in Michigan. “But if we hadn’t been tough, there would have been no dialogue,” the tycoon added. “We are making great strides with the Islamic Republic of Iran and we are ensuring that they never possess a nuclear weapon,” he concluded.
