Moscow, Jul. 29 (LaPresse) – Russia has issued an international arrest warrant for Pavel Durov, co-founder of Telegram. The man is accused of having “facilitated terrorist activities.” The FSB, cited by Russian news agencies, announced this. A statement says that “in violation of Russian law, Telegram’s administration has not removed numerous channels, chats and bots from this messaging app, which are actively used by Ukrainian intelligence services, terrorist and extremist organizations to prepare and coordinate acts of sabotage and terrorism, mass killings and cyber fraud in the Russian Federation, the consequences of which have caused numerous victims, including women and children, as well as material damage amounting to billions of dollars.”
