Milan, 30 July (LaPresse) – A plan for an intensive 10- to 14-day air campaign aimed at weakening Tehran’s missile capabilities has been presented to US President Donald Trump. According to sources close to the discussions cited by the Wall Street Journal, the plan, drawn up by Admiral Brad Cooper, commander of US Central Command (Centcom), would represent a significant escalation compared with the previous round of attacks. The WSJ adds that Trump is also reportedly considering a more limited military response, whilst still leaving room for diplomacy.
