Migrants, Madrid: “Fifty thousand have arrived in Ceuta, half of whom have already returned to Morocco.”

Madrid (Spain), 31 Jul. (LaPresse) – The Spanish government reported that, as of the early hours of July 30, an estimated 50,000 migrants had arrived in Ceuta. The government then claims that half of these migrants, or 25,000, have already left the autonomous city to return to Morocco this morning. “Departures from Ceuta are occurring at a rate of 150 people per minute,” Moncloa reports. Ceuta President Juan Jesús Vivas had previously reported that 60,000 people had arrived in the Spanish enclave.
