Rome, 1 August (LaPresse) – An oil tanker has been struck by “an unidentified projectile” 11 nautical miles north-east of the city of Lima in Oman, at the entrance to the Strait of Hormuz. This was reported by UKMTO, citing the incident report which stated that the incident caused damage to the engine room. No casualties have been reported.
