Rome, Aug. 2 (LaPresse) – Iran’s acting Defence Minister, Majid Ebn-e-Reza, said on Sunday that Tehran considers all threats from the United States to be “credible” and a reason to strengthen its defence. “The enemy’s recent statements, although made in the context of psychological operations and cognitive warfare, are regarded by us as real and credible threats. We will neither be caught unprepared nor remain passive; we consider every threat an opportunity to increase our readiness, strengthen our deterrence and enhance our capabilities,” Ebn-e-Reza wrote in a post on X. U.S. President Donald Trump had previously called off the planned attack on Iran, but warned that Washington was “ready to act” and prepared to strike Iran with a force “unseen since the Second World War.”
