Migrants, Vox: “Permanently militarise the border between Ceuta and Morocco”

Rome, 2 Aug. (LaPresse) – Vox leader Santiago Abascal has called for the “permanent militarisation of the Ceuta border for as long as necessary”. The leader of the far-right party accused Morocco of instigating an “invasion” and an “act of war tolerated and permitted by Pedro Sánchez”. “Why did Morocco dare to do this? Because it knew there would be no reaction and no retaliation. And there is no retaliation because Sánchez is subservient to Morocco,” he declared during a speech in Plaza de África, Ceuta. Abascal also claimed that the neighbouring country “possesses information and evidence of corruption and organised crime”.
