As the US president writes on Truth, the leaders in Tehran “ask for a meeting – some would say they ‘beg’ for one – talks begin, with others already scheduled for the near future, and yet they declare, openly and proudly, that they are not conducting any negotiations, that they are not discussing anything and that they are dealing only with Oman”. Trump goes on to say in his post, “They then indulge in their usual rhetoric, claiming they will rule the Strait of Hormuz with an iron fist, when in reality it is already completely controlled by the US Navy and our ‘blockade’ – or, as some call it, the ‘US steel wall’!” The US blockade of Iranian ports, Trump assures us, will continue “until an agreement is reached or there is total surrender”. The US President concludes his post by reiterating that “Iran will never have a nuclear weapon!”.
