Milan, 3 Aug. (LaPresse) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced the appointment of Rustem Umerov as head of Ukraine’s Foreign Intelligence Service. The head of state made the announcement during a meeting with Ukrainian ambassadors, according to a report by Ukrinform. “To give him greater scope to deal simultaneously with these matters – diplomacy, defence, negotiations with the United States and other designated partners, as well as talks to end the war – Umerov will be appointed head of Ukraine’s Foreign Intelligence Service,” Zelensky said.
