Turin, Aug. 5 (LaPresse) – Hamas is reportedly preparing to move many of its activities from Qatar to Turkey. According to the public broadcaster Kan, the Palestinian organization will transfer its secret operational activities to Turkey, while keeping most of its public activities in Qatar. The decision was taken partly after Doha expressed dissatisfaction with Hamas’ choice to elect Khalil al-Hayya as its new leader. According to the broadcaster, following this decision, Qatar pressured the organization to obtain approval for all its official activities carried out in Doha.
