Rome, 9 Aug. (LaPresse) – Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has met with the Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei, according to the Iranian broadcaster Press TV. During the meeting – it is reported – the two “discussed the country’s economic and military issues”. The talks, the report continues, “covered the population’s livelihood needs, the current situation and future prospects of the war of aggression waged by the United States and Israel against Iran, military developments, ways to secure resources and manage expenditure in rials, foreign currency and energy, as well as economic cooperation with foreign partners”.
