Rome, 9 Aug. (LaPresse) – Hamas, in a statement published on Telegram, has affirmed its commitment to the Board of Peace’s 15-point plan for the second phase of the ceasefire in Gaza. This was reported by Al Jazeera. The group urged mediators and guarantor countries to “assume their responsibilities” and prevent any “violations or breaches” that could derail the process. Hamas stated that it would continue to work “in a positive and responsible manner” to see the agreement through to completion, “thereby ensuring an end to the suffering of our people”.
