Rome, 9 Aug. (LaPresse) – Israel “rejects the 15-point document” presented by the Board of Peace for Gaza and backed by the United States. This was stated by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as he opened the weekly Security Cabinet meeting. “The Israel Defence Forces will not carry out any withdrawal until Hamas is disarmed,” he said, according to Israeli media reports. “We are discussing this with the Americans. They have ideas, some of which are acceptable and others are not, and we know how to counter these things. The Israel Defence Forces will continue to counter threats against our forces and against our citizens,” Netanyahu added, making it clear that “as long as I am Prime Minister, no Palestinian state will be established, neither in Gaza nor in Judea and Samaria”.
