The New York Times (NYT) reports this, adding that it is a major setback for the Trump administration’s efforts to force the university into an agreement. The government had argued that Harvard University had not done enough to combat antisemitism during protests on campus, but Boston federal judge Richard G. Stearns granted Harvard’s request to dismiss the case, stating that the antisemitic incidents cited in the lawsuit filed by the Trump administration in March were “too isolated and episodic” to demonstrate that Harvard was not complying with the law.
