Milan, Aug. 18 (LaPresse) – Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces have launched 1,158 attacks against 59 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region, killing two people and injuring four others in attacks on Zaporizhzhia and in the Zaporizhzhia and Polohy districts. According to Ukrinform, Zaporizhzhia Regional Governor Ivan Fedorov said this in a post on Telegram. According to Fedorov, Russian forces carried out 23 airstrikes on Kushuhum, Tavriiske, Zirnytsia, Yuliivka, Zelena Dibrova, Svitla Dolyna, Marianivka, Orikhiv, Preobrazhenka, Svoboda, Chervona Krynytsia, Mykilske, Vasynivka, Myrivka, Hirke, Voskresenka and Nove Zaporizhzhia.
