(LaPresse) – Sweden, following in the footsteps of Finland, Switzerland, Austria and Germany, also plans to transfer asylum seekers to Italy under the Dublin Regulation and the new EU Pact on Asylum and Migration. This was reported to LaPresse by Victoria Holmqvist, spokesperson for the Swedish Minister for Migration, Johan Forssell. “Our intention is to apply the Dublin Regulation wherever possible,” Holmqvist stated.
