Rome, Aug. 23 (LaPresse) – Israeli police said they arrested yesterday a 16-year-old settler accused of physically assaulting a Palestinian amputee, as well as a 17-year-old Israeli who allegedly filmed the assault. Israeli media reported the arrests. The alleged attacker, from the Avigayil settlement in the Hebron area, was arrested overnight. Police will request that he remain in custody until he appears before a judge later today. The 17-year-old, from Jerusalem, was released and placed under house arrest, according to police.
