(LaPresse) – The governor of the Region of Murcia, Fernando López Miras, of the People’s Party, has sent a letter to the Spanish Prime Minister, Pedro Sánchez, calling for “reinforcements to protect the coastline” and to “halt the arrival of boats laden with migrants”, following several landings recorded on the beaches of Cartagena in recent days. “The Spanish government must take decisive action against these criminal networks and provide the Civil Guard with the necessary resources to step up checks and surveillance. Ensuring security must be an immediate priority,” said López Miras.
