Madrid (Spain), 25 Aug. (LaPresse) – The Spanish Council of Ministers has approved two draft bills, one on asylum and another reforming the current immigration law, to “bring the Spanish legal framework into line with the European Pact on Migration and Asylum”. This was announced by the Minister of the Interior, Fernando Grande-Marlaska, at the end of the Council of Ministers meeting. Marlaska defended the EU Pact, stating that it had been one “of the great successes of Spain’s rotating presidency of the Council”.
