Milan, Aug. 28 (LaPresse) – Residents affected by the devastating landslide in Gyirong County, Tibet, in southwestern China, have been resettled and all tourists who were stranded have been transferred. Local authorities reported this, according to Xinhua, cited by broadcaster CCTV. A total of 499 residents and construction workers have been properly accommodated. Meanwhile, 555 affected tourists have been evacuated and transferred. None of them remains stranded.
