This was stated by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards in a statement released to Iranian news agencies, according to which the combined missile and drone operation struck the Al Azraq and King Hussein bases. US forces intercepted all the missiles launched by Iran against US bases in Jordan in response to the US attack on Larak Island in the Strait of Hormuz. A US official told Al Jazeera: “The missile attack against US forces in Jordan shows that Iran is no longer the power it once was,” the official emphasised.
