Turin, Aug. 31 (LaPresse) – The death toll from the catastrophic floods in Nepal has risen to 939, according to the Nepalese emergency management agency. The death toll released earlier today stood at 903. The number of people currently missing is around 3,925, down from the previously reported figure of 4,247. A private-sector association representing energy companies said that at least 900 workers are missing from 12 hydropower projects damaged by the floods in Nepal’s Rasuwa and Nuwakot districts.
