(LaPresse) – The Iranian Revolutionary Guards have stated that their ground forces carried out a combined attack using missiles and drones against US installations in Erbil, in northern Iraq. According to a statement released by Iranian state media, the Pasdaran claimed that the attack destroyed a maintenance centre and warehouses containing US military equipment, as well as a system used to control an American surveillance balloon. They added that the base’s fuel tanks caught fire and that several members of US personnel were killed.
