Milan, 2 Sept. (LaPresse) – ‘Forces from the US Central Command (Centcom) have successfully carried out a series of attacks against Iranian military targets’. This is according to a statement from Centcom. “US forces struck targets belonging to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), including air defence sites, radar systems, maritime vessels and facilities, mine-laying capabilities and communications sites,” adds the US Command, “the strikes follow recent attempted attacks by the IRGC against commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz and against members of the US armed forces”.
