Rome, Sept. 5 (LaPresse) – US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee said that the Israeli government has a responsibility to ensure the security of Palestinians throughout the West Bank. Turkish broadcaster TRT reported the remarks. The ambassador spoke to reporters after visiting the West Bank town of Turmus Ayya, which has a large population of Palestinian Americans. “One of the messages we have delivered, and will continue to deliver, is that people in these communities have the right to live with a certain level of security and that the Israeli government has a responsibility to ensure that this happens,” he added.
