Turin, 7 Sept. (LaPresse) – In recent days, the average daily number of merchant ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz has fallen to 10, the lowest level recorded since May. This is according to data from the shipping monitoring firm Kpler, which shows a sharp decline in maritime traffic on this strategic route. According to the data, only two ships passed through the Strait on Saturday, marking the lowest daily traffic level in recent days. On Sunday, six ships passed through the Strait, most of them using the eastern shipping route, which is under Iranian control.
