These discussions form part of the Mercosur agreement, which Italy has strongly supported within Europe,” Tajani continued. He added: “Together with Minister Quirno, we have signed two important joint declarations to promote mutual investment and strengthen cooperation in the critical minerals sector. Argentina possesses strategic natural resources that can be combined with Italian expertise, technology and industrial capacity. This presents an opportunity to build new supply chains, strengthen our value chains and generate growth and employment.”
