Ukraine: Zelensky’s flight to Oslo narrowly missed by a drone as it took off in Moldova

(LaPresse) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy made a dramatic start to his journey to Oslo, where today he attended King Harald’s funeral and met with the Norwegian government. “His plane was almost hit by a drone as it was taking off from Moldova. This is the reality he faces,” said Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Store on public broadcaster NRK. Zelensky arrived in Oslo from Moldova on Tuesday evening. This morning, he was received at the Prime Minister’s office. “I asked him how he’d spent the night and he told me it hadn’t been a good night, because he’d been on the phone receiving updates on where the missiles had struck,” said Store. “It’s a dramatic situation.”
